AirWeigh’s RS Series Motor Truck Scales are Built with 24” Main Girder Beams to provide High Load Bearing capacity, Weighbridge rigidity and also act as Guard Rails. 

All modules are an Integral Wide-Flange I-Beam Design with no channel incorporated giving the most structural support. The I-Beams are distributed across the width of the platform and oriented longitudinally to the wheel travel of heavy vehicles and includes a thick 3/8” diamond plate decking. 

At a 100-Ton overall capacity and a 35-Ton concentrated load rating the RS series is a superior rated motor truck scale.

AirWeigh’s load cells are strategically placed on the outside for ease in accessibility for maintenance and link adjustments. AirWeigh’s parallel link suspension incorporates 75K stainless steel load cells that allow the weighbridge to move freely and always find its center. This load sensing system absorbs shock from heavy traffic and promotes return to zero, linearity, and enhances overall accuracy.

AirWeigh’s RS Series- High Rail Truck Scales concrete platforms feature a superior steel structure. Concrete deck option comes prepared with the deck sheeting pan and rebar already in place for immediate concrete pouring upon installation. This is included in the truck scale sale and the detail print provided to the customer. 

AirWeigh’s RS Series foundation requirements are the most minimal in the industry. The foundation to support the RS Series truck scale requires only four footings, two end walls and approach and exit ramps (the simplest concrete detail plan, saving the end user on costs for expense and time).

AirWeigh provides a foundation detail plan for every device sold. They can be constructed or modified to adhere to any county or city ordinance requirements for approval. The standard AirWeigh RS High Rail truck scale modules are shipped ready to be placed into position on level footings, using a crane. There are three sections of the truck scale that are mounted to concrete footings with concrete ramps in place at the approach and exit. Final leveling and anchoring of the load stands in place after installation prevents costly contractors’ re-positioning mistakes and gives full discretion to the installer in real time. Interface the truck scale to an instrument, then calibrate/adjust the system.
